Interaction

For my portfolio class I created an animation that involved interaction between two objects. The vending machine was modeled after the one in the animation pc lab which belongs to Mike, one of my professors.

Tennis Swing

For this assignment we had to do and animation that involved some sort of game. I decided to do a tennis swing.

ZBrush Test

So Jeff wanted us to give ZBrush a try to see what we thought of it. All we had to do was play around with it. I was very confused at first but once I got the hang of it I had fun. I used the demo head that is provided with ZBrush and gave him some huge eyebrow bones and a couple of scars.

Character Model and Rig

For my Character Animation class we had to create a model and rig it. I decided to do a cartoony version of myself. He is almost fully rigged, I just need to get the skin weights right. I used Photoshop to create the textures, the t-shirt is based off of my Brother-in-laws custom motorcycle shop NMC.

IronDuck

For my 2D animation class I worked on a group project. The concept was created by Nikki Kulhanek and I colored the mock-up. The animation was done by Toni Gary and the backgrounds were done by Jeremy Cash. He also did the H.U.D (Heads Up Display). I also created a high poly 3D model of the armor which I then used in the closing credits.

The mock-up was painted in photoshop, the model was made in Maya and colored using the toon plug-in, the sound and credits were all made using Adobe After Effects.

My First Attempt at a Walk Cycle

Here is the first walk cycle I ever made back in 2007 using Maya 8.0.

Nappy was modeled and rigged by my advanced animation professor David Dawson.
